Well here is the big restart to my blog. And today I had an epiphany whilst toasting some bread. I work in advertising/marketing and it only just occurred to me that advertising only works because people are lazy.
Let me explain. I was toasting some "Hovis Best of Both" and I distinctly remember the advert telling me that it has all the healthy benefits of brown bread but the great taste of white bread, or something like that. And then I thought, how on earth do I know this? I just think I know it because someone has told me, but I have a science background and I like to find things out for myself, so why do I believe the people at Hovis? Because I can't be bothered to find out for myself.

And then I started thinking about the stuff I market for my clients and how on a daily basis, I happily ignore countless bad things about their products and just write about the good stuff. It's ludicrous!
Anyway, if you want to not be ripped off, do a bit of research for yourself before you buy something. However, if your not that fussed then I wouldn't leave any sleep over it!
